The Village Hall
Siddington Village Hall sits in the heart of the village on Ashton Road, just a short distance south of the shop and post office. It was built in 1921 in memory of those who died in World War I, and since then it has become the hub of the community, providing a venue for clubs, classes, fetes, parish events and celebrations as well as private parties. Anyone can hire the hall on a regular or one-off basis and can choose between the spacious main room, which holds up to 100 people, and the smaller committee room, which is ideal for meetings or smaller groups. Hire charges are very reasonable and there are discounted rates for Siddington residents. Additional reductions are available for regular bookings and block bookings of a morning or afternoon. See the website for a full list of hiring rates.

The hall is managed by a team of friendly trustees, all Siddington residents themselves, whose aim is to maintain the building to the highest standards.

New Heating System at back of Hall
The Trustees are delighted to announce that a new ECO heating system has now been installed at the back of the hall which will heat the kitchen, WCs, passage and committee room. We are most grateful to The Summerfield Trust for their generous grant of £6000 towards the work for this. This completes the installation of two new heating systems throughout the hall.
New Porch
Plans for the new porch are progressing well and we are now meeting with local builders to discuss costs and timescales. Further progress reports will be published in due course.
If you would like to find out more about what’s going at the hall, you can check the notice boards on the front of the building or visit the website. To book, please contact the bookings secretary on 07407352025.
